THE QUAN COACHING: IN-PERSON AND ONLINE MONTHLY PLANS

The Quan Coaching monthly plans are holistic and individualized plans designed to work toward optimal human functioning. To begin, I offer a free consultation (in-person for those in the Chicago-land area or over Zoom for the online packages) in which we will get to know each other and discuss your prior fitness experience, your medical history, current nutritional/sleep/fitness habits, and your goals. As part of this free consultation, I will create a medically- and athletically-sound training and nutrition program that is specifically tailored to your needs. For those in the Chicago-land area and interested in purchasing the in-person monthly training packages, you will then receive one free training session to help you decide if you want to continue the coaching process for the following month.

All in-person and online monthly plans will include the following:

  • Individualized training programs

  • Nutrition planning

  • Training and dietary supplement advice

  • Medically-sound knowledge regarding optimal human health and functioning

  • Constant access to coaching advice (I will be just a text or phone call away!)

PRICING AND EXAMPLE PACKAGES

I am unfortunately unable to give an exact price until we have our consultation session. Because of the inherent variability among clients and my desire to provide exactly what you need rather than a cookie-cutter program that is the same for everyone, prices will have to be determined on an individualized basis. Below are examples of monthly packages that have been put together for clients in the past.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Monthly Coaching Plans

  • What is the difference between the in-person and online package and is there a significant price difference?

    • The in-person monthly package is for those living in the Chicago area and includes in-person training sessions (at a frequency to be determined at your consultation session) in which I will travel anywhere that is convenient for you to train. The online monthly package does not include training sessions and instead includes individualized training programs that you will complete on your own and report back with results and feedback. These programs will be modified based on your results during the session and are individualized based on your goals, prior experience, and other factors that we will talk about during your initial consultation. 

    • Online packages will be much cheaper than in-person packages for two main reasons. First, in-person training sessions, when purchased individually, can be relatively expensive compared to online training. These sessions are very valuable for getting the most out of your workout. They are absolutely essential for understanding how to perform the exercises correctly and in the most efficacious way to achieve your goals. Second, with the Chicago-based in-person packages, we will be having almost daily in-person conversations, aside from our training sessions, in which we will talk all things mindset, nutrition, supplements, training, and any other topic that will help you live optimally. In other words, you will essentially have unlimited access to my coaching services and we will work much more closely together. For the online packages, you will still be able to ask questions over text/email and have Zoom check-ins (depending on the package you purchase), but will not have the same level of access as someone purchasing the in-person packages. I have some clients who are on somewhat of a hybrid plan between online and in-person packages (i.e., completing one in-person session per week or even per month); thus, we truly can customize the plan to fit your needs and budget!

  • Where will we workout for the in-person packages?

    • We can workout wherever is most convenient for you in the Chicago-land area. Previous clients have often had apartment complex gyms, which is beneficial given the large amount of equipment at our disposal. I have also trained in client’s homes with very little equipment and am still able to provide a great training program in this situation as well. Access to equipment will be a part of our discussion at the consultation session, as this will certainly be factored into the creation of your individualized coaching program.

  • Who is the Quan Coaching program for?

    • Everyone! Whether you are a high school or college athlete preparing for your next season or a 60-year-old businesswoman; whether you have 30 years of training experience or have never touched a weight in your life, the Quan Coaching program is for you. As I've mentioned, I believe everyone should train like an athlete to become the best version of themselves and achieve their quan. Regardless of where you are in life, I assure you that I can curate this program for your growth!

  • Can I purchase individual training sessions instead of the entire monthly package?

    • With the Quan Philosophy, a comprehensive, holistic approach is a non-negotiable. For this reason, coaching packages are only sold on a monthly basis rather than by individual training sessions. The monthly Quan Coaching plan is a very individualized and curated service. This is not your typical commercial gym personal training service in which you show up a couple times a week for a workout that is likely the same workout every other client is performing that day. Instead, this will be an individualized and comprehensive coaching process that does not stop after you leave the gym for the day. I will always be only a text or phone call away with any questions you may have throughout the week regarding health, nutrition, or training.

  • What type of nutritional/supplement planning will be provided?

    • I myself am plant-based and have extensively researched and experimented with plant-based nutrition in my own life to successfully find foods and meal plans that allow for muscular hypertrophy, fat-loss, and optimal athletic performance. Depending on your needs, I can create full, individualized meal plans with extensive macronutrient and micronutrient breakdowns, or I can simply provide nutritional tips and tricks. If you are not desiring a plant-based approach, I can also provide the same services in a non-plant-based manner.

    • It is often difficult to wade through all the different types of supplements, especially with all the products on the market that are not scientifically proven. My education experience has allowed me to critically analyze research related to supplement efficacy. From creatine to beta alanine to citrulline to vitamin D to caffeine – I will provide sound-scientific advice on supplements that will be beneficial for you to achieve your goals.

  • What other aspects of health and optimal functioning will be addressed?

    • Through my studies in biomedical engineering, medical school, and my own outside research, I will also provide plans for systematically improving sleep, hydration, mindset, rest, recovery, and other pivotal habits to help you function at your most optimal level.

  • Is there a referral program?

    • Yes! If you refer a family member or friend who signs up for the Quan Coaching program, you will receive a month free!
