MEET THE COACH:
QUINN STILLSON
Growing up, I played almost every sport, although tennis became my main focus during high school. Upon arriving at Purdue University, I quickly became obsessed with the gym – spending countless hours there every day. I became interested in applying my studies in Biomedical Engineering to the weight room. I found that understanding the physiological properties of the body along with the mechanical properties of the equipment allowed me to gain a unique perspective on training. This application of my studies to athletic training continued over the next 4 years in medical school at the University of Chicago. As I continued developing my expertise of the human body, my training philosophies evolved to represent a more holistic model of optimal human functioning, encompassing facets of wellness such as psychology, sleep patterns, and plant-based nutrition. On top of all of this, I obtained my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) license to better understand the principles behind a successful athletic training program.
